Must have Travel gear

Now one thing you must know about me is that I LIVE TO TRAVEL! Over the years I have refined my travel gear to help make my adventures more comfortable, fun, and easy to pack around. Here are a few of my favorite pieces of travel gear that you will always find in my carry on.

Headphones

No matter if you are listening to music, podcast, movies, or catching up on the recent episode of your favorite show a good pair of headphones is a must. Personally I am a fan of Bose but that’s just me. I usually have a over ear pair for comfortability on long haul flights and earbuds in my purse for shorter trips and getting form point A to point B.

waterbottle

Staying hydrated is so important when traveling especially by plane. The recycled air, while scrubbed cleaned by high grade filters, is dry as the Sahara. This makes it hard on your body and skin. A good water bottle not only cuts down on plastic waste it helps you feel better and come in a million types of materials patterns sizes and colors.

Here are a few different styles to inspire you

Plane Friendly Cellphone Stand

There is nothing worse than getting a cramped neck from looking down at your phone as you watch a movie. This little gadget from unitron was a game changer for me. It has an adjustable clamp and can be manipulated a variety of ways for the best angle. Find it here on Amazon

Pill and supplement organizer

Ok I know this may make me seem like an old lady but don’t knock it till your try it. This saves me so much room in my bag and I don’t have to miss taking my daily supplements. This really helps me stay on schedule especially when I am traveling for multiple days and on redeye flights.

Here a few stylish options that you wouldn’t find in your grandmas purse.

Leather Cylinder 2x Daily Pill Organizer

Compact Pill Box

Emerald Quilted Pill Organizer

Marble Print Pill Organizer

TSA Pre-Check

While not a physical item, this item can be biggest tool in your carryon. Who here loathes the TSA security line? I know I do and after years of suffering (yes Denver I am looking at you) having TSA PreCheck has changed the way that I travel. The signup process is fairly straight forward and its good for 5 years before you have to renew. The perks include* having a designated line (in some airports entire security sections), not having to unpack your carryon, keeping your shoes and a light jacket on, and in several airports a quick walk through the metal detector. All the little things that add up to a quick and smooth navigation of security so you can get your trip started.

*TSA precheck procedure may vary between different airports
